Beach Schools Is a unique learning experience that gives children the freedom to be themselves, to be in charge of their own learning through having fun, getting dirty, laughing, taking risks, making decisions, solving problems and learning new skills.

Similar to the forest the beach is a wonderful environment to teach young people on, the exploration that can take place is amazing and the advantage that twice a day the tide comes in and goes out can completely change the site from the last time you may have been there revealing more to explore.

Beach Schools can provide the environment for all forms of learning styles. The Kinaesthetic learner can explore their surroundings touching and feeling what’s around them, the spatial learner can use identification sheets to then relate to what they see, and the Logical learner can use tools in the Beach environment to help with their reasoning.

We can offer a range of beach school related options for large and small groups on Hartlepool beaches or further afield. No two sessions need to be the same so even if you book two consecutive days we can alter them to suit different groups.
