Forest School

The term ‘Forest School’ is often used to describe a flexible approach to learning outdoors and in the world around us.

Using this approach can have a strong positive impact on the way children engage with learning.

The flexibility of the Forest School approach to learning mean you don’t need a big forest to be successful and it can be one of the most cost effective ways of embedding outdoor learning into a school curriculum.

The more a forest learning project is integrated into the curriculum the more it enriches children’s knowledge and understanding of the world around them.

We can offer a range of Forest School related options from taster sessions at school with younger children, days in our 100 acre woodland site, days themed around popular stories or longer courses for a whole class or small group of children. No two sessions need to be the same so even if you book two consecutive days we can alter them to suit different groups.

With a wealth of experience in delivering outdoor learning, a depth of resources and the flexibility to plan around your needs, we are confident that our team can deliver an experience that will enhance your children’s learning.
